Wednesday 10th September: The Welcome Evening
An informal evening to welcome old and new members for our season.
Come along and enjoy an evening meeting like-minded people over light refreshments

There will be a short introduction to the club, an AV showcasing some of the activities you can join in with, and images from members.

Wednesday 17th September: Club Night
This is the first of our monthly club nights, which will be themed and where we come together to chat and exchange tips over light refreshments
Tonight, we will have three of our members talk us through the process of making three separate images each.
The why, how and the process of getting the final images.
Time to find out how our images are created from start to finish.

Wednesday 24th September: Talk Night
The first of our monthly Talk nights.
An evening to go through ‘how to use your camera’ from exposure, camera modes, composition techniques, camera settings, etc, with practical demonstration of the impact of camera settings.
Bring along your camera and try out the settings for yourself, or raise any specific questions you may have.

Tonight we have a Talk/Presentation on Macro Photography
'Macro My Way' by Ken Dow
Keynote presentation. Macro and close-up images of insects with an outline of the techniques I find work best for me. Discussion of some of the challenges met and compromises one has to make in this kind of photography.

Practical Shoot - Light Painting and Shooting Fireworks - At the Club
Bring your cameras along and enjoy learning how to set up and take images using long exposure for light painting and fireworks

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Saturday's outing to Llanymynech Limeworks has had to be changed.
New Location: Llangollen
It looks like Saturday PM will be less likely to have rain.

We are delighted to have Tony North as our speaker for this evening's talk. Tony is truly one of the best in his field of photography. His talk combines the sharing of images with live demos of post-processing.

Five Awards for Photographic Merit judged at three levels are fully explained in this show with dozens of images to illustrate the standard required for each Award, including the recently introduced BPAGB and EPAGB.
